There are many great books and many funny books, but there are very few books that are great AND funny. This is one. It began the movement to legalize marijuana in the late sixties, and now that it has been completely updated and revised, it should complete the job! Besides its social and legal importance, A Child's Garden of Grass RELOADED can end depression and be used for anger management. If you are in a bad mood, just read a few pages. You will smile and laugh and chortle and guffaw and be normal again.

I read this book when it was first published. With the renewed interest in legalizing marijuana I decided to get a copy and read it again It was just as great as I remembered. Many of the experiences it describe were similar to things I had experienced but the best part is the humor. Even the acknowledgement made me laugh out loud. It needs to be PUBLISHED AGAIN with REGULAR SIZE PRINT. The paperback copy I purchased was in what I call "bible print" It could easily be in the New York Times best seller list. I would buy several copies as gifts for my family and friends.

This is an oldy but a goody. Brings back many memories of the 60' & 70's.

A very funny read about Cannabis that I first read back in 1969 or 70. - (When I was first 'turning on' - lots of chuckles! )

It was easy to get lost. For instance, the Protagonist section includes a subheading, "Your vibe attracts your tribe." That would be an excellent theme for the section. But in the same chapter there's reference to an Authenticity Playbook (which is not fully explained), as well as macro and micro stories. Enlist the help of "brand ambassadors" by giving them free products and asking them to submit comments, pictures, write blog posts, etc. If you think you're offering a wholesome meal and your customers think they're buying indulgence, then ditch "wholesome" and craft your message around "indulgence."The book writes about several companies and how they built their culture and crafted their marketing to take advantage of customer feedback, but I found the examples bland and uninspiring. For example, I had to slog through the following paragraph about a marketing company that is doing just that:"The team at Havas has built an operational framework for how they develop big ideas, anchored in a deep understanding of how culture impacts the brand and its customers specifically, which will ultimately become award-winning advertising and customer engagement frameworks for some of the most notable brands in the United States. About the Author

Kateri Akiwenzie-Damm is an Anishnaabe writer of mixed descent from the Chippewas of Nawash First Nation on the Saugeen Peninsula in south western Ontario. Her writing has been published in anthologies, journals, and magazines in North America, Aotearoa, Australia and Germany. Kateri is currently working on a CD of spoken word poetry with a group of international Indigenous musicians and friends. Josie Douglas is of Wardaman descent: her grandmother's country is just south of Katherine in Australia's Northern Territory. The Davis Drug Guide will always be my go to for IN-DEPTH med info, but so far, I am liking the Mosby's Pharm NoteCards. I am a nursing student and I'm using this to cement the information I learned in my nursing previous nursing courses and most recently taken pharmacology course (being that it was a 6-week summer course, we did not have enough time to go as in depth as I would have liked). Book is nicely sized to carry with you when you feel like studying on a whim, not sure you'd like in in your pocket at clinical though, nor is it easy to flip through. I do wish the specific medications were highlighted or bold, since they do tend to blend into the page (example: anti-hypertensives on information page; see picture #4) but I do like how it is specific to nursing care for a patient on these drugs. The cartoon drawings help, but sometimes they have little tid-bits that are there merely for humor. Don't waste my brain space! haha Nursing student problems :) It bugged me that no one had posted a picture of the book itself, so this is basically my motivation for the review. I will possibly update after the summer once I have had a solid chance to really read through it. Hope this helps!

These note cards have helpful mnemonics that make learning pharmacology a breeze. Medications are classified by category, and especially important info (such as adverse reactions, and drug interactions) are highlighted in a different color to make the info easily stand out. The cartoons make it easier to remember the info as well, because sometimes the silliest associations are the easiest to recall. I recommend this to nursing students taking pharmacology because it makes the memorization just a little more fun, simple, and easy to understand.

Great for visual learners. The front of each card comes with a cartoon illustration with funny dialogue that can make memorizing medications easier. The back of each card contains important information on drug classess such as: mode of action, uses, side effects, what to monitor for, and patient teaching.I love these flash cards! They're not too bulky. It's small enough to carry in a purse making it convenient to study on the go.It does not go over specific medications just the drug classes and it covers drug classes from every body system.I bought it new and recieved it sealed in plastic wrap.

THIS ITEM WOULD BE GREAT IF PAGES WEREN'T MISSING!!!!!! This jumps from 190 to 195 and I found this out while searching for drugs that were supposed to be listed on page 194. I want a new item or a refund

This is by far the best tool to learn and memorized drugs in pharmacology. The pictures are ideal for visual learners and the content isn't overwhelming, however, it is really informative. A must have for a nursing student.

Saved my grade, literally would not have passed without the simple outline and helpful tips to keep all the drugs straight.
