After waiting forever, it seems like… to get my grabby hands on this latest release from Dark Author Whitney Bianca, I am left with the feelings that there needs to be more! Although there was an ending, it seems like there could be more to come. **Fingers Crossed**Adrienne has always walked on the outside of the box. Raised with money surrounding her, she chose not to be one of the society girls. She chose to run bare footed and get dirty. Her life has been one turmoil after another. Choosing to become a photographer and traveling the world capturing the worst of all moments. But one thing that she can’t forget is…Dorian Armstrong he first laid eyes on Adrienne when he was 17 and she was 14. Yet never a day went by that he didn’t think of her. Now older and married to someone else, he finally makes his move to capture the one he could never forget.This book is quite the page turner! Darkness surrounds Dorian and he will stop at nothing to ensure that Adrienne will always be his.This would have been a 5-star book for me if, although a small amount, there needs to be an editor to correct the spelling mistakes. Also, it would be nice to have headings at each chapter. I would start a new chapter and it would take a couple sentences before I knew who the chapter was about. Just little details like this could make a 4-star book a 5-star book in my opinion.Please heed the warning attached to this book. It is in place for a reason.
I'm not going to lie, there are some editing misses here and there- but they were few and far in between, and dididn't detract from the story. The characters, plot, twists, and suspense were amazingly unpredictable, and deeply compelling. Plus the main character is strong, independent, cunning, and a real badass that doesn't like to go down without a fight, which I definitely prefer over the weak-minded fools you typically come across in this genre. If you like articulate untraditional dark stories, that isn't written for childish adults- than this is the book for you.Come to think of it, even if you are a Basic Becky that digs common tropes, and stereotypes- get this book anyway. Mix it up and live a little, B.
Slight spoilers in 3rd paragraph, nothing too big.Miss whitney Bianca, I have been WAITING for you to write another dark romance. I loved "I know what love is" and "love is strange." You have unbelievable talent, and I can't wait to see what you come up with next.I am a dark romance lover, and this book was definitely dark. I will say this, the story took a turn that I was not expecting it to, but it was so good. I love when I'm reading and I feel as though I'm getting to know the characters. For me that's the sign of a good writer. And the complex couple that was of Dorian and Adrienne was just amazing.Warning however, if cheating bothers you, beware. The H has a wife and mistress while persuing the h. I'm not usually a fan of that, but you just have to know and understand Dorian, which miss Bianca makes you do flawlessly.
I'm sure the disclosures before you start reading warn you about the content but this is not for the faint of heart!!!! I'm not sure what I was expecting I skimmed those warnings for sure. But as I read this book every chapter left me drunk dying to know what was going to happen on Dorian and Adriennes rollercoaster. I hate cheating after the H & H meet. But it didn't bother me perhaps it was because Dorian is certified sociopath who doesn't even regret half of it.... So much of this story is cringeworthy But Ghhood I found his relentlessness romantic... Which had me thinking perhaps NO MORE WINE tonight! Lol. I loved it. Every sick minute.
Loved the start but it got super odd at the end and I was left with a, "that's it?".In short, an obsession where it just remained an obsession and I didn't feel there was much passion between the MCs.
If you are a lover of DARK reads... you might want to pick this one up.....Super Dark, Lots of surprises and when I say Dark.. it does not get much darker but the ending was really good and so it always seems to make it better when two very messed up people in the world find each other and connect...Was a really kept me on my seat read...
He's deranged, obsessed, arrogant and hot! I want all of his crazyðŸ˜..well done Whitney!!!!!Give this story a chance you won't regret it.
This Book took me by surprise, it's unlike anything I've ever read before and I loved it. I was wondering how it was going to end and it was perfect. I'm so very happy that he finally let Jessica know the truth.
