John Nemo really opens up your eyes about what LinkedIn really is all about and how, probably 98% of us, get it wrong. The title, although after reading the book is appropriate, anyone who has not read it would think it is a "get rich quick book" of some sort....it is rather a "get steady decent income (possibly rich) through steady actions/work and improvement on LinkedIn" book.Many of the principles that are put forth in this book, also apply and/or are derived from consultative selling techniques to where you do not sell, you have a conversation that leads into a sale (or the sales happens on it's own). Or better yet, you chat/consult with and educate enough with LinkedIn's to where they make the purchase (be it a product or service of your's) on their own without having to be pitched/sold on it...the buyer comes to you ready to buy.This book also helps to figure out what things in LinkedIn profiles that need changing/editing to be more effective at not only connecting with more LinkedIn's but also ultimately getting more out of those connections than just connections. It is ultimately about making meaningful connections that last, that can lead to jobs/work/pay of some sort.Because 98% of us get it wrong with LinkedIn, by reading this book and applying the knowledge gained in this book, you become part of the 2% that finally get LinkedIn completely, to some extent becoming a "Master of LinkedIn".

The book is excellent. It's a clear and complete outline of exactly what to do to use LinkedIn the way it should be used - as a fantastic marketing and sales tool via effective networking, connecting, leading in your field, and being sought out by others. I am very sceptical, and, as a business coach, I can tell you that most books on marketing are trash, there only to drive you to think the author is a get-rich-quick god (there are none, so consider yourself warned!). "LinkedIn Riches" is a fantastic, real-deal book you absolutely should buy. Now, do keep in mind that LinkedIn just changed a lot, so I'd suggest waiting a bit until the author has time to catch up with the changes and update the book. I enjoyed this book, I knew about the Persians from studying Rome but since the course was about Rome it did not go into detail about the Persians. This book starts out at their beginnings and how they formed a nation and became powerful. Then it tells about the different dynasties that ruled Persia and its empire and who were the people or nations that they conquered. The book went all the way up to the Ottoman Empire and slightly beyond it. The book ends with Persians achievements in art, medicine, and architecture. Overall it was a very interesting and informative book and I recommend it.

On this book you see the complete history of the Persian Empite. How each new group would take over the previous one & make improvements. Lasted for such a long time and it’s contributions are still being seen today!Super job of research by Captivating History!

About the Author

David Abraham Adler (born April 10, 1947) is the author of nearly 200 books for children and young adults, most notably the Cam Jansen mystery series, the "Picture Book of..." series, and several acclaimed works about the Holocaust for young readers. Adler was born in New York City, New York. He graduated from Queens College in 1968 with a bachelor's degree in economics and education. For the next nine years, he worked as a mathematics teacher for the New York City Board of Education, while taking classes towards a master's degree in marketing, a degree he was awarded by New York University in 1971. In that same year, a question from his then-three-year-old nephew inspired Adler to write his first story, A Little at a Time, subsequently published by Random House in 1976. Adler's next project, a series of math books, drew on his experience as a math teacher. In 1977, he created his most famous character, Cam Jansen, originally featured in Cam Jansen and the Mystery of the Stolen Diamonds, which was published that year. Adler married psychologist Renee Hamada in 1973, and their first child, Michael, was born in 1977. By that time Adler had taken a break from teaching and, while his wife continued her work, he stayed home, took care of Michael, and began a full-time writing career. Adler has three children and one grandson. He lives in Woodmere, New York.

Great for teaching young children our history. I loved the pics. This is maybe for a child maybe about 4 and older. I just wanted to surround my 2 year old with the info even if he didn't get it yet. We have to teach our children our history because they won't learn it anywhere else and this is a good place to start.

Great book for young readers and it has been added to our homeschool library

Adler's simple and easy style of writing makes these volumes a terrific addition to any classroom library. This particular volume on Marshall is insightful and human. I particularly enjoy pointing out that Justice Marshall was not always a perfect little student and sometimes was required by the principal to copy the Constitution. It's a great springboard when discussing the history of the civil rights movement. Greatness does not necessarily mean stardom. Justice Marshall's story is one to which all students should be introduced. My students love all the Adler books in my library, and this is my personal favorite.

Great read aloud for high school students who may never hear of this great man in all their high school years.

I've been wanting to practice European cooking for sometime, so I decided to start with Europe's first family, the Basques. This is a continent that takes pride in its sophisticated culinary tastes, and this cookbook shows that the Basques are no exception. The section on wild mushrooms alone demonstrates the refinement of Basque cuisine. The recipes are excellent (although they can be quite difficult), but I was most impressed by the author's prose apart from the recipes. This is one of the few cookbooks I've read that qualifies as good literature, and it deserves to be reviewed and appreciated as such. Moments of lyrical excellence shine through even in translation, and Sevilla should be commmended for crafting such a unique work. Its almost an anthropological study, but in the new style that shies away from dry exposition in favor of a more personal engagement. I recommend this book to cooks and readers alike.

Being of basque heritage myself I found this book to be informative and interesting. I am not very familiar with basque cuisine since there are very few basque restaurants worldwide so reading about it fulfills a need in me to know more about my ancestors' cultural history.

I haven't gotten to read it all yet. I was gathering Basque information for a display at our family reunion. We are of Basque descent.

This book was so much better than the first one. I loved that both Grayson and Harvey were able to grow firing the course of this story.In the last book, I felt that Nyle never changed from being selfish, but Harvey really did have to analyze his priorities and change his perspective to realized what he truly valued in life. I loved that Grayson had done the same, just before this story started, so that he was 100% invested in being with Grayson as soon as they found out that they were fated mates.One thing that I do have to ask is how is it that Seph had never experienced a heat before, but Harvey has gone through dozens, with Grayson, and yet they never knotted before now? It just seems to be a bit capricious.

Harvey leaves Grayson in an attempt to find his path and because he didn't think they were meant to be. Grayson still loves Harvey and a chance encounter of the worst kind - a trip to the hospital puts them back in one another's lives. They not only have a second chance at love, they discover they are fated mates. Which should be a good thing, except a misunderstanding about a trip causes some drama. But a baby on the way is motivation to make it last. This was the second really good story in the series.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Grayson had been in love with Harvey for years, even when Harvey left and broke his heart; Grayson never stopped loving him. Harvey realized leaving Gray was beneficial for his career but was the worst mistake personally. Fate stepped in on several occasions to throw Grayson and Harvey together to try and fix what was broken so long ago. I laughed at the way Gray tortured Harvey when he went into heat and all Harvey wanted to do was leave. I can't wait for Thorne's story and the return of Mason's very special elephant.'I received an ARC of this book and voluntarily reviewed it.

This is the second Howling Hills Heat and it is just as HOT as the first. Heartbroken Grayson gets his wish. His visit to the hospital puts him in the care of his long lost Harvey. Coming back was a tough decision for Harvey. Running into Grayson was everything he was afraid of. But when fate has you in focus, there's really nothing you can do. This is a fast paced story that will keep you captivated from beginning to end. I loved this story. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS ENCHANTING SERIES!!!!!

Harvey comes back to do his residency and Grayson shows up with a bee sting on his dangly part. They each feel the pull to each other and think it's just love. Can they be honest with each other and, talk? Can they forgive each other? Are their feelings strong enough to try again? This was a fun quick read. The characters are nice as presented, but more time could be spent flushing them out. Good story. Cool series!

A sweet, pleasant mpreg romance with an appropriate amount of lovers' drama and a moderate amount of heat.This was my first time reading Liam Kingsley and I was sufficiently impressed after being grossly disappointed in several similar efforts by unknown mpreg authors.I really liked that Liam has introduced a bit of traditional "shift and run" into this story.Something we see far too little of nowadays in modernised Alpha/Omega tales.There were, naturally a few "oh, grow UP" moments in the story too, but worth the irritation once the story unfolded into resolution and HEA.What I found lacking, however, was the frustration of never getting a physical description of the characters, nor was it ever disclosed what their ages were.I find I need this info to draw me fully into the story.I must dock at least a star and a half for these discrepancies, plus a slightly disruptive inconsistency toward the beginning of the book.Otherwise, I can recommend this read; especially for folks who are new to this genre.I rate 3.5 stars.Standalone.Heat level around 3 flames.Well done.I received this book as an ARC via Booksprout, and have volunteered to read and review this work.

I read this book as part of an arc program. This is the second book in the Howling Hills series. In this book, Grayson is an alpha who is starting to get even more lonely after watching his friends find their fated mate and he is alone. Grayson misses his former love Harvey, who left four years before to go to medical school. Harvey and Grayson were in love, but they were not fated mates and parted. Years later after a trip to the ER, Grayson is shocked to find Harvey back in Howling Hills. When Harvey sees Grayson, it takes everything he has not to try and get him back. Harvey is an omega sn has always wondered what if in case of Grayson. When Harvey's car break down the next day, fate has him going to Grayson's garage for help. Grayson and Harvey talk and end up back at Harvey's house and over pizza and beer, Harvey confesses how much he missed Grayson. When Harvey's heat hits, Grayson is more than happy to help him through it, causing them to realize they are meant to be. But things happen leading to Grayson wondering if Harvey really wants to be with him and will stay. I loved this book. I love Grayson and Harvey together. I think they really loved each other and were meant to be. Grayson was scared of being hurt again and Harvey didn't want to risk anything to cause Grayson to doubt his love for him. They rely on fate a lot in this series and i think the saying "everything happens for a reason" is a good theme for this book. Good one.

There are so many errors is this book it’s ridiculous. Pain med chapter is especially off, and the board review questions at the end of the chapters have errors. The text contradicts tables... countless errors. A shame this is what our boards are going off of.
